[1871] [06/22]: Moundsville Shower of Tiny Frogs [WV]

The Wheeling Daily Register (Wheeling, W. Va.), June 22th 1871

Shower of Frogs. – We are informed that during the shower that visited Moundsville on Tuesday evening, vast number of tiny frogs fell with the rain. They were so thick on the ground in some places, says our informant, that it was almost impossible to walk without treading on them.
